Course Overview

The Smartphone Media Training is informative and practical. Students will benefit from hands-on experience producing audio/video projects recorded and edited with their smartphone. You will hear lectures from international filmmakers on topics such as writing, cinematography, editing, distribution, and more.

 

You will produce:
Week 1 – An informational video
Week 2 – Motion graphics & a documentary
Week 3 – A short film
*Week 4 (optional) – Join Create International for a week of film production

Tuition & Costs

The Smartphone Media Training will take place 27 Jan to 14 Feb, 2025 in Jinja, Uganda at YWAM Hope Land. Individuals and teams are welcome to apply. The price includes accommodations, meals, and course tuition. You must provide your own travel to Jinja.

 

Course Costs
World C – $70 USD
World B – $130 USD
World A – $180 USD

If you’re planning to stay for the optional week of film production with Create International please estimate an additional $15 to $30 (we’re still figuring out the details.)
